An increasing number of teacher shortages nationwide is developing a need for Educational Consultants and Therapeutic Consultants. There has been an increase in mental health needs of children through young adults. This is a map of the number of teacher shortages in the United States. This country is currently experiencing a nationwide shortage of teachers. This problem is affecting all levels of education; the biggest hit can be seen in elementary education, special education, and foreign language, with STEM classes following closely behind.
