Alcohol And Drug Treatment Programs
Typically adolescents in an alcohol or drug treatment program are separate from adults. Adolescents are not placed by our consultant in adult programs. It simply does not work well and our preference is to find an adolescent program to treat other problems with the child. A residential program is usually our choice. Those with a psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnosis would be thoughtfully placed in the right setting, depending on their age and use of the substances. We find most adolescents are experimenting with drugs rather than having a full-blown addiction.
Foundation House
Foundation House is a fully licensed intensive outpatient program we are familiar with for adolescents and young adults. Our program incorporates a fully licensed Intensive Outpatient Program. Clients receive a minimum of nine clinical hours each week through various groups, weekly individual therapy, and 12 Step studies.
