College Scholarships And Financial Aid
We direct families to scholarship and tax-credit resources. We also encourage our families to complete the FAFSA for college lending and discuss loan programs to help families with the affordability of going to an independent school or a private college. We also work with struggling teens in crisis. Most of our students apply for some financial aid in a boarding school. However, financial support in a therapeutic school is provided by the parent. While we cannot guarantee scholarships or financial aid, we do help families in this aspect of placement, usually addressing this with the school. We do not offer grants to students. This is an entirely different process and applies to college admission. This does not apply to independent schools or therapeutic schools or programs. We discuss many of our resources in the meeting. We must meet with you to address these various areas. Many times, in the case of special needs students, funding with a school district may apply to attend a program. Even children who come from adopted families can obtain subsidy support.
Federal Student Aid Application
FAFSA the Free Application for Student Aid or FAFSA is an online application for all student aid and loans. These programs include the Stanford Loan and the Pell Grant which provides grants for college students. Each student applying for college must apply online with verifies the income or support by the parent o parents. The Pell Grant is based on this as well as the Stanford Loan Program matches the grants.

We offer help to parents looking a boarding day and therapeutic placement. This can be confusing to some parents who believe all schools have a scholarship program. Many therapeutic programs offers a different support. Our consultant helps families in both areas in this needed support.

The Gordon Parks Foundation
The Gordon Parks Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established in honor of filmmaker and documentary expert Gordon Parks who is well-known for his black films inducing "The Learning Tree among so many films which introduced black films. Parks has scholarships and grants.
Canadian Boarding School Financial AID
Canadian Boarding Schools offer Financial Aid based on need each school has their own application process for financial aid and has to be submitted individually.

This is a scholarship program for disadvantaged students. The program is looking at private boarding and day schools. We are familiar with this program as a stepping stone to entering private schools. The program is for the East Coast in New Jersey and New York.
